When Indraneil turned bisexual!

IndraneilSengupta’s very excited! He recently completed Rituparno Ghosh’sEnglish and Bengali bilingual film Just Another Love Story (Aar Ekti PremerGolpo in Bengali), where he plays a bisexual opposite Rituparno Ghosh who playsthe gay director.
About the role, he says, “It’s adifferent story with unconventional characters, yet it’s a regular lovestory with its share of emotional turmoils.The film is an attempt to change theperception people have about gays and bisexuals and also the way they areportrayed on screen, which is more of public ridicule. It was a difficult roleespecially to get into the thought process of a bisexual man and to understandhim.” So are there any bold scenes? “Well, there’s no kissingbit, but yes there are some intimate scenes and trust me they are not in badtaste or over-the-top. They are decent and very much in-sync to thescript.” And was there a conscious attempt to avoid lip-locking?“You can say that. It wasn’t anything to do with what my wife(Barkha Bisht) would think, but it was more keeping public sensibilities inmind.”
But what did she really think about it?“She’s very supportive and knows about everything I do. And from dayone her and my parents knew this script. The film has been made well and I wascomfortable watching it with them. In fact Barkha started crying watching it,due to the emotional chords the movie touches upon.”
